Why is a credit card required for a trial?
Two reasons. First, qualified intent — we want to spend time on operators who are genuinely evaluating, not browsing. Second, simpler infrastructure — at the end of the seven days, you decide to keep going or cancel; no awkward second sign-up flow if you continue.
What happens at the end of the seven days?
Two paths. If you cancel before the trial ends, no charge. If you stay, your card is charged for the next month and your account continues uninterrupted. We send a reminder email on day five.
Can I extend the trial?
Yes — write to us. Genuine operational evaluations sometimes need more than seven days. We'll usually grant a one-time extension if you're actively testing.
How is my data handled?
Alert data you submit during the trial is processed within EU jurisdiction, encrypted in transit and at rest, retained only for the duration of your trial unless you become a paying customer. GDPR compliant. Full data-handling notice in our Privacy Notice.
Why is this not a free plan?
Free plans select for the wrong audience. AVA's value depends on operational context — alert volume, environment fingerprint, hypothesis library. A paid trial means we engage with operators who are willing to commit attention, not just clicks. The trial is paid in intent, not in money — there's no charge during the seven days.
