Cookies Policy

This Cookies Policy explains how Priam Cyber AI Ltd uses cookies and similar technologies on priam.ai. It complements our Privacy Notice, which describes how we process personal data more broadly.

Summary

At launch, priam.ai does not set any cookies that require your consent. We do not run advertising trackers, social media pixels, or behavioural profiling tools. Our planned analytics platform (Plausible Analytics, self-hosted) is cookieless by design.

The only cookie that may be set during your visit is a security cookie placed by Cloudflare for bot management — described in §2 below. This cookie is functional and is exempt from consent requirements under the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and EU ePrivacy rules.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Cookies allow the site (or a service it uses) to recognize your device on subsequent visits or pages, store preferences, or perform security and operational functions.

Cookies are commonly grouped into four categories:

Strictly necessary — required for core site functionality, including security
Functional / preference — remember choices you make (language, region, layout)
Analytics / performance — measure how the site is used
Advertising / tracking — build profiles for targeted advertising

We use only one cookie at this time, in the strictly necessary category.

2. Cookies on `priam.ai`

2.1 Cloudflare bot management — `__cf_bm`

This cookie is part of Cloudflare's standard infrastructure and helps protect the site from automated abuse. It does not track you across sites and is not used for advertising or analytics. More information is available in Cloudflare's cookies documentation.

2.2 No other cookies at launch

We do not currently set:

Analytics cookies (our planned Plausible deployment is cookieless)
Advertising or remarketing cookies
Social media tracking pixels
A/B testing cookies
Session cookies for user accounts (the marketing site has no login)

If this changes, we will update this page and present a clear consent mechanism before any new cookie is set.

3. Third-party cookies on linked services

When you click through to a third-party service from priam.ai, the destination site may set its own cookies under its own policy. Notable cases:

Stripe Checkout (Phase 5, when /trial payment flow goes live): Stripe sets cookies on checkout.stripe.com to operate its payment session. Those cookies are governed by Stripe's privacy policy and are not under our control.
External links to vendor security pages, news articles, or partner sites are similarly governed by each destination's own policies.

We do not embed third-party widgets (chat tools, social feeds, comment systems) that would set cookies on priam.ai itself.

4. Why we do not currently show a cookie banner

Under UK PECR and EU ePrivacy rules, consent is required only for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Because priam.ai sets no consent-requiring cookies, no banner is shown. Adding a banner where none is required would create unnecessary friction and is itself sometimes a privacy problem (consent banners are a frequent vector for dark-pattern design).

If our cookie usage expands in the future to include analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies, we will:

Update this Cookies Policy
Present a consent mechanism that complies with PECR and the UK GDPR / GDPR
Default to no cookies set unless you explicitly opt in

5. How to control cookies

You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

Block all cookies (this may break the security functionality of __cf_bm and similar strictly necessary cookies)
Block third-party cookies only
Delete existing cookies
Be notified before a new cookie is set

Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may affect site availability — Cloudflare's bot management may treat your traffic as suspicious and present additional verification steps.

6. Changes to this policy

We will update this Cookies Policy whenever our cookie usage changes — particularly when we deploy any new tool that sets a cookie on priam.ai. The Last updated date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
